RAISING AWARNESS

My goal is to help more people live lives free from violence. To achieve this, I work to raise awareness and build the skills of professionals in law enforcement and other key institutions. Those investigating, judging, protecting, and supporting victims need the right expertise to offer effective and appropriate help. A deeper understanding of victims’ vulnerability lays the groundwork for responses—that is, the actions by legal and support systems—that are both legally sound and compassionate.

I regularly lecture for police, the judiciary, social services, healthcare, schools, and other actors. My focus includes young people’s vulnerability in honour-based contexts, violence prevention, relevant legislation, and its practical application. By sharing knowledge across sectors—authorities, schools, and NGOs—we strengthen our collective ability to prevent violence before it happens.

While my core expertise is in honour-based violence and youth, I also teach on gender equality, parenting, cultural norms, and broader topics like sports, health, stress, and burnout.

PREVENTATIVE WORK - PARENTS

Preventive work means meeting people where they are—offering support early, creating the right conditions, and laying the groundwork for change before challenges grow into larger problems. I engage in preventive efforts by supporting parents at an early stage in their journey. One example is the ten-week parenting course I lead, which provides parents with tools and insights to build strong, positive, and lasting relationships with their children. My focus is on strengthening protective factors while minimizing risk factors, helping to create a safe and stable foundation for both individuals and families.

A key element of preventive work is collaboration. I work closely with vital community partners such as schools, social services, and non-profit organizations. Together, we aim to ensure that families receive the support they need before crises emerge, fostering resilience and well-being from the start.

PREVENTATIVE WORK - SCHOOLS

School is a vital protective factor in children's lives—often a safe haven where relationships are built, identities are shaped, and opportunities for change emerge. With this unique role, schools have not only an educational mission but also a responsibility to promote gender equality and prevent violations.

Lectures on topics like relationships, consent, and vulnerability can offer schools valuable tools and spark ongoing conversations about norms and integrity.

I provide lectures and workshops for both students and staff, covering areas such as violence, digital safety, and mental and physical health. For students, the aim is to inform, inspire reflection, and boost self-esteem. For staff, it's about increasing awareness and providing tools to better support students in vulnerable situations.

My goal is to help create school environments that are safe, inclusive, and empowering—for everyone.

INDIVIDUAL COACHING

With over 20 years of experience as a counsellor and coach, I support individuals and families facing life’s challenges. My sessions offer a safe space to explore questions around identity, relationships, parenting, trauma, and honour-related dilemmas.

Grounded in a deep understanding of how culture, relationships, and lived experiences shape us, my approach is holistic, intuitive, and tailored to each client. I quickly identify patterns and guide you toward clarity and lasting change. I see my clients as experts in their own lives and approach each person as a whole—mind, body, and soul.

My role is to reflect, challenge, and support you in uncovering unconscious patterns that may be holding you back. Together, we work to unlock your inner strength and create sustainable strategies for a healthier, more present life.

I’m deeply grateful that you're here - ready to do the inner work.
